www.playusa.com has the DVD set for £17.99 for UK people (note it`s the Region 1 USA version) - It`s not too bad a deal, free delivery.

Bought a set, and whilst it has similarities to "Joan of Arcadia" (probably why the didn`t use the title with Joan in it for Wonderfalls.

I`m actually likeing it so far, haven`t got to the Jewel staite episodes yet.

Good man! Defy the MPAA and their evil region coding. I got mine on Amazon.com when it was first released. I've already watched it 3 or 4 times and love it almost as much as Firefly. The third disc with Jewel Staite is just brilliant; it made me cry in more than one place.

Oh, and I didn't even have to pimp it on you at the weekend. Yup, Wonderfalls was pretty darn great (even if had one real blip of an episode). I liked Joan of Arcadia before Wonderfalls but if one had to continue I'd have rather it had been the latter.

Is it wrong that I rather like Jewel Staite's character? She called her "a real bitch" at the convention but she's not that bad and she's sooooo pretty.

Okay, that last one's not much of a reason but still. I Jewel, no matter what she does with her characters.

I thought the same thing. The first two disks are really good. You think, "Hey, this is a really good show!". Then you pop in the third disk and it goes to a whole new level of great - practically Firefly great. This is now one of my four favorite shows - right there with Firefly, Buffy and Angel.

Apathy on the Rise. No One Cares.

Is it wrong that I rather like Jewel Staite's character? She called her "a real bitch" but she's not that bad and Eric wouldn't have married her if she was that bad all the time. Plus she worked out that the marriage wasn't going to work and she's sooooo pretty.

Okay, that last one's not much of a reason but still. I Jewel, no matter what she does with her characters.

Jeeese - *Spoilersport* actually you did mention it once and I did the reearch and the price was right (that made the main decision after the serenity con)

Haven`t got to disk 3 yet, but enjoying the series nonetheless.

Bugger, you're right, that is a spoiler, sorry about that. I'll edit my post, could you edit your quote too? Ta.

Never sure where to draw the lines with spoilers (I once saw someone complain about 'Troy' being spoiled for them, despite the story being over 4,000 years old) but if we're trying to persuade people then we should be careful.

*hugs disc 3 signed by Jewel*

Oh, and if you're avoiding the spoilers, don't watch the extra features until you've finished the show.

Don`t worry, just jokin` with ya

I`m one who can read a book even if somone tells me the ending or see a movie where the last scene is in the trailer (Ooops!)

I don`t see any problem with spoilers as long as they are factual - it`s the ones that aren`t that bother me.

So that would be all of them then?

Actually, I had a friend who always used to read the last page of a book first to see if he liked the way it was heading. Unfortunately when he read Zen & The Art of Motorcycle Maintenance (spoilers follow!) he didn't realise that the son dying happened in a separate epilogue from the main text so he turned over every page waiting for him to die.

SLAYERFEST

You know there are other great cancelled Fox shows that I really loved. Greg The Bunny starring Seth Green. Absolutely hysterical and loved by the cast almost as much as the BDH loved Firefly. Set on a show not unlike the Muppets but WAY cruder!

My other show that I recommend when Id o this is The Tick - the live action show. Created by Ben Edlund (Angel and Firefly) and it features an amazing array of feeble superheroes and villains. Again so funny and again so sadly missed.

The good news is that both have been released in their entireity by Fox on DVD as box sets. I recommend them to any of you and hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
