I just gotta know; am I the only person here who has watched this show???

I love it. One of the best cop shows/ drama/ procedurals I've ever seen. Plus tons of actors that are in BSG and Stargate. Jewel Staite's in it, too.

Anyone???

It's been a while (5 years) since I was able to pick up cbc but back in the day I would watch me some Inquest. Is it still on?

Thank you! At least there's someone!...

It ran seven seasons of 13 episodes each. These are now syndicated in the US, and run on WGN every weekday. They have started creating the sequel series, DaVinci's City Hall. I think(?) they are most of the way through season one of that. http://www.davincisinquest.com/

For everyone else: if you like cop shows, give it a try. Extremely realistic, gripping, thoughtful, and without the Hollywood melodrama. Some episodes are stand-alone and some are serialized into season (or longer) arcs. It always has a real human touch with the characters, too.

Except Brian Curtis! Evil man!

I'll look for it. Now if I can only convince them to run Air Farce, This Hour, and The National I'll be a very happy person.

Unfortunately CBC (the channel that airs it in Canada) has cancelled DaVinci's City Hall. I'm not sure how many episodes they produced or if the season was finished. I'll see if I can find a link.

Edit: http://www.cbc.ca/bc/story/bc_da-vinci20060213.html

WARNING: the second link has what might be considered minor spoilers for City Hall

But it does mention that a tv movie will be made.

I've watched quite of bit of it on WGN and enjoy it very much. I do like the (IMHO) much more realisitic interactions between police officers and/or citizens then is normally portrayed in US series.

Oh, me too!!! I'm so addicted to this show. It just started syndication in my area and at first I didn't want to watch it because I thought it looked boreing and then I tried one episode and was completely hooked. In my area it's on twice Monday thru Friday and four times on Tuesday and once on Saturday and Sunday. I love how real the characters seem. I have to admit I'm kinda' developing a bit of a crush for Detective Leary (Ian Tracy). Anyone else remember Ian Tracy on the X-file episode The Walk where he had no arms or legs? Creepy.

PS I was just about to post a thread about my addiction to Da Vinci, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. I wasn't sure what category the post should be in. lol

Malsgirl, it sounds like you're watching WGN too. If so, be warned. The 2:00 (central) and midnight showings are the same episode, and run in consecutive order. Today, they'll finish season five. The extra two episodes on Tuesday are not in that sequence, and may not be consecutive. We skip those. The ones on the weekend are probably local, right?

Glad to hear you (and everyone else) is liking it. For my wife and I, it has become our new compulsion! I cheered when Sukela Mathew (Sunny ) joined BSG, and when we first realized Donnelly Rhodes (Leo) and Kandyse McClure were already there.

DaVinci's daughter, Gabrielle. She's mostly there in the first three or four seasons, kind of sporadically. I'm sure IMDB probably lists the specific episodes. Note that this would've been late 90s; she looks really young.
