Yep David Tenant is very cool. After tonights episode 'tooth and claw' he seals it for me. Very good episode of Dr Who with a very good Dr :)

Is Dr. Who any good. I mean I've seen several of the advertisements for it, and they all screamed poor acting. Is it the ads that lack or the show itself?

It's British and some don't like the style of our stuff. It's certainly true we don't have the budget of most US shows but we're also not as bothered by ratings; at least, shows on the BBC and Channel 4 aren't. Put it this way, Firefly would have gotten a renewal regardless of ratings if the critical/fan reaction had been the same over here.

I'd give it a decent shot - there's a two parter coming up (The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances) which is one of my favourites from the first new season. And if you like what you see, you'll have literally hundreds upon hundreds of episodes to watch.

It maybe be typically Brit but thats why I love it. It is absolutely the best thing on UK TV at this time. That doesn't mean it's bad because it is far from it. Tonights episode 'Class Reunion' was fantastic. It made me laugh so much with the 'Rose and Sarah Jane bitchiness' and K9. I was then reduced to tears at the end with the Sarah Jane goodbye. Also the big bat aliens where scarey :). Sarah Jane Smith is still hot :) She just brought all those Tom Baker feelings back (probably to myself and Dr Who fans the best Dr ever, If you yanks aint seen him. Hes the quintessential british, excentric gentleman) and David Tenant showed that love for her :). I love DT I think he is great. People thought there was no life after Christopher Eccleston ( I thought the same) but I now love Tenant. I'll go as far to say he is up there with Baker :) True Dr WHo fans will lynch me for that LOL. However I think he is good :). He's better that Sylvestor McCoy. LMAO

No Poor acting at all. The acting and chracters are very deep and rich. Compare it to Firefly and then you'll know how good it is. Dr WHo fans rave about Tom Baker. However they have good reason. A low budget Sci FI show was brought into the hearts of thousands due to his acting abilities. Tom Baker is to Dr Who like Patrick Stewart is to Star Trek :) The new Drs are fantastic. Chris Eccleston is second to none adn David Tennant is fantastic. You'll notice though they all copy Tom Baker :) Just coz it is British doesnt mean they cant be as good as Nathan :)

I'm very glad to hear this Karel :) Season 2 is fantastic and you'll love the new Dr, David Tenant. I hope I haven't dropped too many spoilers for you :( I apologise if I have, but I like the new series so much I just wanna talk about it. After the previous incarnation of Dr Who with Sylvestor McCoy (it was truely dreadful, an embarrasment, I watched about 2 episodes) I thought Dr Who was dead and buried. However when Chris Eccleston came along and a bunch of new cool writers they dragged Dr Who into the 21st century with cool stories and great acting. It is easily by far the best show on UK TV at this time. I even know none sci/Fi fans who watch it and love it.

Oh by the way Karel. ELO rule. LOL
