I was in the mall a few weeks ago, and thought i was going crazy. I went in a few stores and past many others, and saw that the majority of clothes were what Kaylee would wear, like fun shirts and casual jackets, or bohemian and Indian like Nara, or pretty and flowy dresses like River. I swear, it was like firefly fashion week. It was the strangest thing, i thought i was going nuts.

I suppose it's just summer fashion that's being tweaked a little by the big cheeses of the fashion industry, but it amused me. :)

It's not just you! I've noticed the same thing. Not to mention that there's a lot of brown out there, and plenty of knitted tops around.

Right now I'm wearing a green tee shirt and a pair of green combats with a pretty floral design embroidered on the bottom of the right leg. They remind me of Kaylee's clothes :)

Pathetic? Me? Pfft!

yeah the other day we were going to a costume party and I told my husband I wanted to go as Inara. He said I didn't have anything to wear for that and then I dragged him to the closet and showed him that a good 60% of my summer clothes worked as Inara's:) Especially with my new jewlery...so I agree lots of Fireflyesque clothing abounds:)
