Was watching House this evening and saw the premier for a new show this fall, Standoff. Then something interesting struck me. "Hey, thats Peter from Office Space." Then in the following scene...Gina Torres.

Looks like another "Let's drag a simple story out as long as the ratings hold crap fest that FOX is famous for, but atleast they have a decent cast.

I'll look in for Gina but if they want to keep me they'll need to write some darned good shows.

I'll tune in for Gina, but I don't expect FOX to treat the show properly. Adam also has a new show, thankfully not on FOX. NBC I think.

Standoff is a great show. Now, I'm not that excited that its on FOX but I enjoy the banter between the Negotiators and the FBI SWAT Team.

Rosemarie DeWitt (plays Emily), Gina Torres (Cheryl), and Raquel Alessi(Lia) are hot.

What else do you want in a great show? Hotties and SWAT Guys with Guns kickin ass.

Check out an episode after the baseball post-season is over cuz thats when House and Standoff should start showing episodes again.

Standoff is interesting actually, caught the first couple episodes. Gina is definitly doing a good job in it! The show itself is a different take on a "professional relationship" with the two negotiators, who are trained to talk down fugitives, hostiles, criminals, etc, but, can't really express to each other what they feel. Shiny dysfunctional fun!
