Couldn't help but notice the counter on the top right ( when facing ) of the home page doesn't give a number anymore, but instead greets us w/ ' A lot of Browncoats.... '

How long has this been up ? And is it here to stay?

Just wonderin'.

This has been up since the massive rebooting after the attack of the spambots. lots of info was lost, peoples tags were reset, and I'm guessing the actual count was lost.

The website had some performance problems a while back, so maybe Haken removed it to reduce the number of database queries...

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I'm pretty sure the figure was over 3,000,000 before the hack. According to Haken that was unique individual hits, although for sure a lot of people have accessed the site from different computers at various times.
