Sci-Fi is airing the show.
Be thankful we're getting this much.
Besides, this might end up getting more DVD sales. Someone might catch a few of these episodes and say "Hey, there's more of this show? I know what I want for Christmas now!!!"

Last time they showed the first 11 episodes: Serenity to War Stories. I agree with you. All I want for Christmas is more Browncoats to help us get more of the 'Verse.

Well, I actually haven't watched TV since Babylon 5 ended in '98, just DVDs of shows I hear a lot about, so I didn't know about the earlier Serenity-War Stories marathon.

I just think Serenity should always be the first episode of Firefly anybody sees.

For one thing, if you see Serenity after watching the other episodes, all that mystery that Joss worked so hard to build up around Simon and his big silver box goes right out the window.
