STEGASAURUS

While I don't intend to spoil the last episode (I think it did that on it's own with super-rushed story arc endings) I thought I needed to put up a post since I have for the last few episodes.

Last night I was just crushed. Again, I love the actors probably just as much as I did with Firefly, it's just I've had more time with SG-1. The writing for the series finale was rushed and just plain bad (IMHO). I was hoping that the best I would get out of that episode was that I would be sad that the series ended. Instead I was sad because the actors were forced to put forth effort on this finale.

Now, that being said, I was still sad this morning, when I went a-digging on the cortex and found that MGM has agreed to 2 made for TV(DVD) movies! They are supposedly to be released this fall and will complete the story arc with the Ori.

That definitely lifted my spirits for the day, and my wife fears that I will be intolerable until they are released. Anywho, if anyone feels the need to continue this thread, yay! If not, just wanted to share.

Yes, I hear of those movies too. Iam kind of dispointed how its turnin out. But You gatta cut the strings sometime. Otherwise the characters would be 80 or something. But I would fret though, they are working on a third spin-of as well. No one knows the name of it though.
I read that the sreies objective would be plainly seen in the last of the straight to DVD movies. The first being STARGATE: ARK OF TRUTH ( which will end the ori), and the second being STARGATE: CONTINUEM. Jack O'neil is coming back for that one. One more thing. Aparently MGM is working a deal with the guy who made the STARGATE movie. He wants to complete the trilogy that was planned in the begining. Word got out that it more than likely will have nothing to do with the series.
