Browncoats -- Jericho needs your help

For those browncoats out there still hanging around on "earth that was", the show Jericho needs your help. Everyone did a great job getting Serenity made, and maybe there might be some lessons to be learned for the folks trying to save Jericho.

On May 16th, CBS cancelled the scifi show Jericho. Now if you think the show actually "ended" here's this...the season finale was a cliff hanger, and a big one at that. Then CBS said essentially "that's it, no more". Fans of the show (a good chunk of the 8 million of them) are furious.

Read through the passionate posts and maybe drop a bit of advice. We could enlists a few browncoats in the fight too. Jericho needs more time to tell it's story.

Not sure why every cancelled show needs to be "saved." Lots of them need to be cancelled.

Do we really need yet another show that plays on all sorts of stereotypes along with the newly fashionable terrorist threat?

It's almost as bad as 24, where, yes!, the Islamic boy next door is, in fact, a terrorist.

bump... Jericho may not be Firefly, but it is a good show that was continuing to develop... it now has a hard core legion of fans who are, like we Browncoats once did (and still are), trying to save their show... any advice from those who ran campaigns would be helpful...

Might I suggest getting a board that is not owned by CBS? It's only a matter of time before they pull the plug on it.

While I won't be campaigning to help the show, I did enjoy it, and wish you luck.

CBS has actually done a few interesting things with the official Jericho board. First, the president of CBS entertainment posted a few official statements as the compaign has progressed over the past few days. Secondly, there has now been a "save jericho" section added to the official boards. I wonder if they are taking notice, but I also don't see the boards coming down in the next few weeks.
