Has anybody seen the british show called Life On Mars. It's about a man called Sam Tyler that gets hit by a car in 2006 and wakes up in 1973. Throughout the show things will happen that make him think he is in a coma. Like in one episode in 2006 they give him an overdose of drugs and in 1973 he is very hyper and is seeing things.

Seen it. Loved it. Got it.

A very original show which really made you wonder what the 'real' reality was. You go one way then another, and then another.

Top notch acting. Very funny moments.

Favourite bits were the Camderwick Green intro and the creepy test card girl. But there are many others.

I would reccommend anyone to watch this show.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

A friend of ours has it on dvd and showed us the pilot episode. I liked it, but have yet to get the dvds.

The Camberwick Green intro was so briliant. I loved it.

What do you mean WAS a great show? They already killed the show? I loved that show. Most original thing I've seen on TV in quite a while. Damn it!

I've seen the first series, waiting to watch the second. And I was in the UK in the 70's, so a lot of the references and ambiance have a familiar ring.

I've heard rumors that "they" are working on a version for US television. It worked for The Office, so we can hope!

There is rumour of a spin off, but the actor playing Sam wont be back. Gene Hunt will be, according to the rumours :)

The spinoff is called Ashes to Ashes (based on the other David Bowie song) and it is about a cop called Alex Drake who has an accident and wakes up in 1981. Gene Hunt and "the team" will be back except for Sam Tyler. Also there is an american version being made of Life On Mars that is produced by David E Kelley and is said to come out this fall on ABC.
