So eagerly anticipating this right now, August can't come soon enough. Unless they screw it up, then I'll be dreadfully disappointed of course. Anyone else looking forward to it?

They may think their sins are original, but for the most part they are petty and repetitive.

Have actually not read 'high cost of living' but shall have to get on and do so if it's soon to be adapted.

I'm going for not rereading the book, it looks like there's set to be a few changes, and I think I'll be less puritanical and enjoy myself more if I go in as open minded as possible.

And it's not fangirlishness if it displays good taste ^^

MAGDALENA

"No power in the 'verse can stop me!"

Something I remember learning at drama school (where I did a unit on constructive and objective reviewing) was that the written word and a movie are two totally different mediums... one will never be exactly the same as the other, it is a physical impossibility. So where the movie is made from a book or other source you have to keep in mind that it is an interpretation of the book... not the book itself...

Sorry - I don't know why I just spouted that... It might be the drugs I just took without thinking that I also just drank a large glass of Baileys and ice-cream...
