I've just watched this episode online, and it has instantly become my favorite episode (or at least my favorite "Doctor-lite" episode)!
(And I think I'm in love with Carey Mulligan.)

That is a great episode

"It's my timey whimey detector, it's beeps when there's stuff, It also hard boils eggs, whether you want it to or not actually, I try to stay clear of hen houses" hehe

I'm also reminded of this episode constantly, my girlfriend listens to country music and there's this one song on the radio alot right no called "don't blink" and I can't help but giggle and say "blink and you're dead" everytime that song is on.

Woman, you are completely off your nut.

Not alone in the slightest. That is definitely my very fav Doctor Who (new series of course) episode. It was just brilliant!

I think they will have a very difficult time topping it.

I think it was the author of this ep who, on one of the "making of" shows, said that each after each Doctor Who script he wrote, he felt "oh well, that's another movie idea down the drain".

However, I suspect that padding it out for two hours would have killed it. Delivering something so satisfying and well-paced in 42 minutes is part of the appeal.

Still: Best. Episode. Ever.
