I enjoyed it, though I believe the pilot could have easily been one hour long instead of two. I just felt they were drawing it out. I'm not completely sure that this will last, but I will watch for awhile and see if it develops into a worthy show.

Those who didn't catch it might want to give it a chance (USA Network)

Debuting Summer of 2004 TNT is coming out with what I believe is their first original series, The Grid, although it is listed as a 'limited series'

I only fell is all.

Yeah, I gave it a try because that guy is so cute (all angsty and such)...and I actually ended up liking it. I wonder how good the British one is?

I taped it so that I could watch it later. I've been busy all week, so I'll probably watch episode two tonight before I get around to watching the pilot, but hey, it won't be the only tv show I've watched out of order.......

I did catch a few minutes of it though. That guy from Identity is was in it! I also caught part of the part on the plane...with the poetry...that was funny.

Say, I saw the ads for that one and it looked interesting. When is it on? I think I have the premise from the ads, but I'm a bit miffed with myself for missing the first bits.

Touching Evil is shown on Fridays at 10pm on USA (I know, a killer time slot). Tonight's episode was really good (again) and I find myself liking this show more and more.

Besides, it ain't a bad night of tv to watch Wonderfalls and then Touching Evil in a row. Does it make me a sad individual that I watch Friday night tv instead of going out???

You know, if more people did that, we'd be discussing the new Firefly episode right now. Stupid people and their need for human contact...

Had to check the web to find out what the heck this was! It starred a throwaway "popular" British actor - have a vague recollection of it, and it was certainly no Cracker (which the US also took and ruined).

Actually the original British version of "Touching Evil" is much, much better. The USA Network took the story line straight out of Season 2 of the British version and changed the locale and actors.

They did an ok job with the American version, but an original story and original characters would have made the show better. IMHO.

Well, for those of us who haven't seen the British one, it was a new storyline. It was disconcerting, however to see "Chip" from Kate and Ally (and the Ratchett and Klank commercials) as the arsonist.

Hmmm....methinks I watch too much tv.....

One of the first things I noticed were the members of the OSC... They've almost all played memorable villians on popular series.

Jay Swoops = Kevin Durand = Lord Zipacna from Stargate SG-1

Aileen = Debbi Morgan = The Seer from Charmed

Agent Bernal = Brian Markinson = Ray Morrison from Steven Spielberg's 'Taken' (albeit he wasn't really 'bad', he was just having a rough week)

Agent Krakauer = Peter Wingfield = Tanith from Stargate SG-1

Anyhoo, I just thought I should mention that, so if any of their characters decide to go evil one day, we'll know why...

I just made a small fansite for "Touching Evil" if anyone is interested: http://firesanctuary.com/touchingevil/index.html
