Vader puts the Force whammy on Spock and sends him to the window, then ignites his lightsabre...

Okay, does anyone at least like my painting (that I can't post in the Blue Sun Room)?

The painting is fine although I'd like to see a bigger version of it if it's possible. It's certainly a lot better than what I can do, I never could get the hang of figures. I was more into technical drawings.

Is it an actual real paint painting or was it done in Photoshop or Painter? Or some other software?

It is a little bigger to my eyes (oo-err missus).

At least now I can confirm that I can see a stream of Ties attacking the Enterprise.
Spock looks pretty good. The details of his uniform are there and everything. Can't seem much of Vader to tell on him.
The size and perspective of the Enterprise looks pretty much spot on as well.
Nicely done.

You do realise that most art isn't appreciated until after the artist has moved on, right?

As for the story then, sorry buddy, but I'm just too tired at the minute to think of anything. I've been decorating all day (painting of a different kind) in what we class as a pretty hot day and it's now time for a cold drink and beddy-byes.

Thanks! I set a goal for myself here, NO reference material to work from, & NO looking at my Enterprise models- I wanted to see what I could come up with from zero. And I had only 1 day to do it.
I'm 75% happy with the outcome.

It was a Birthday present to my Stepson, who only said he wanted to see Vader VS. Spock- but when I gave it to him, although he REALLY liked it, said that he's more a fan of SW than ST, & Vader would cream Spock in a fight.
I replied that Spock would be beamed away directly after this image to keep him alive.
He liked that.

Yeah Vader would easily win, even with only one leg.

After pinning Spock to the window Vader uses force choke to strangle the life out of him. As his body slumps there is a flash of blue streaky light and Spock from the alternate universe appears, unleashing a barrage of phaser fire at Vader. Vader deflects it with his saber and the force but beats a hasty retreat through a side door. New Spock takes Old Spocks body and places it into a torpedo tube and fires it into space. At that moment Vaders Tie Fighter flies out of a hanger bay and collides with the torpedo tube, sending them both careening wildly towards the Star Destroyer Genesis. The Enterprise's relentless attack causes the Star Destroyer to list and then suddenly it explodes and inexplicably starts forming into a new planet.
The tube and the Tie Fighter end up being pullled in by the newly formed gravity and head straight towards the surface....

....to be continued??

Keep the Shiny side up

Spock's analysis of Vader's suit leads him to cut off the right calf at the knee, thus removing the life-support controls located there.

Vader collapses to the floor, struggling to breath. He beckons Spock to come near and remove the mask from his helmet.

"Spock. I am your father." he gasps.

Big C - It's frikkin bitchin!!!!

Like Lwaves pointed out you've got the persepctive down pat. I like it. Anatomy is a hard thing to do and I reckon you've done really well here. Knowing how you love your comics I like what you've done with the poses and the stances of Spock and Vader, and I'm happy too that you haven't tried to 'inflate' the muscles (as comics tend to do).
The Ship is good. Looks like it is in it's 'space' and feels suitably distant.

One gripe... (hey there's always a gripe) It needs some shadows. Just for dramatic purposes you understand. But otherwise you should be most chuffed with this Chris. I'm impressed with your creativity boss. Keep going because you will always improve.

And in terms of what happens next...

Vader - using the force - has his newly severed leg kick Spock right in the 'lunch box'.
Spock goes down in agony, muttering the words
"Live long and prosper" with the high-pitched squeal of a choir boy on helium.

D'oh! You're right! It would soften the comic book-y look, which I was attempting to avoid.

I guess that's the 25% I was not pleased with right there. Anyway, thanks for the thumbs-up otherwise, pal.
