Has anyone here ever seen Cowboy Bebop, an anime series airing on Cartoon Network? Firefly seems like a similar idea, & I'm not saying this to be mean because I love Cowboy Bebop & wouldn't mind seeing something else like it. Anyway, Bebop takes place in the future, has no aliens, & there is a beat-up ship that they fly around in. It is more noir-ish than like a western, but I still see some similarities.

Any Cowboy Bebop fans here?

I'm a Cowboy Bebop fan. I can see how Firefly and Cowboy Bebop have similarities in the whole ragtag-crew-on-small-fast-ship-gun-for-hire sort of way.

Have you seen Tri-Gun? Cowboy Bebop in a Tri-Gun setting = Firefly? What do you think?
