I have to say this is hands down the best looking transfer I have ever seen of an older film. Kudos to Fox for letting capable people handle, and restore this classic. No DNR or edge sharpening here.

The 7.1 audio is a little weird getting used to. It's fantastic, but it just sounds a little too perfect. I'm sticking with the original mono track for now.

For any fans of this film, don't hesitate pick this baby up now.

I just replied in your thread about region free dvd players that I didn't know if you had Blu-Ray. I guess this answers that with an affirmative yes.
If you don't already know about it try this out. The FAQ says they take foreign DVDs but whether they mean foreign language or forein region is unclear in what I saw. Might be worth checking out.
I wish we had it over here. They' take any professionally produced content even if it''s not a WB disc.

Y'know I have never seen RHPS. And after seeing the Glee episode last week, I kinda want to.

Might have to pick this up.

Yeah, I heard about that. I have to start watching Glee.
When Blu-Ray properly replicates a pristine 35mm print(The BD may even look better) and most certainly sounds better than the film did in the theater...that to me is absolutely worth $20.
