Now I am learning about scary.

I don't know how many Chicago Cubs fans there are on this site but I was saddened to hear today of the death of Ron Santo.

I didn't become a Cubs fan soon enough to see him play, but I know he was a legend to longtime Cubs fans and a real stand-up guy, as well as an enthusiastic broadcaster. He will be missed.

Sorry to hear the news of his passing. Know the name more than I did the player. Not so much a baseball fan, but do always did think well of the Cubs.
