Okay, its not an SF series, but its by the writing team of Spaced, the British comedy for nerds, and I need somewhere to put this.

Shaun of the Dead is the best British film in quite some time. I just came back from watching it, and if you like good writing, characters, comedy, horror and romance, go and see this film.

Haven't laughed so much in the cinema since Paycheck - its a parody of Dawn of the Dead, but is an internally consistent film and doesn't shirk its horror roots (although there isn't one cheap jump cut).

Essentially its a film about being in your 20s and not knowing where your life is going, with added zombies.

And it has a killer use of Queen's Don't Stop Me Now (and a Buffy nod as well, Whedon fans)

See this film, just so we can get the sequel, From Dusk Till Shaun.
