I almost posted about this several weeks ago but my own lack of interest in the project persuaded me not to bother and I thought someone else would. The fact that nobody has mentioned it until now indicates to me that most folks weren't bothered or surprised by the news.
I personally thought that the images and footage looked fairly poor and right from the start it seemed like a project that was going nowhere IMO. Elizabeth Hurley had been cast so they weren't aiming high on the acting front and I don't know the girl playing WW so I can't comment on her but my first impression was that had been cast for looks.

In hindsight the 70's show was a bit of a joke, even though I watched it at the time and this version seemed to be going the same route. They need a complete revamp to make it work for today and move completely away from the bright coloured costume and camp of the other versions. How and if they can do it is another thing.
