Israel is gonna swap 1000 prisoners held in Israel, for 1 Israeli soldier ( gotta check the spelling of his name, will edit in a few) (EDIT- Gilad Shalit.) in a deal brokered by Hamas thru Egypt. PR win for Hamas, and a loss for Israel and the PLO/Abbas/Palestinian Authority in the West Bank. He was kidnapped over 5 years ago.

They made the deal, so they must be fine w/ it.

Seems a bit much to me, but then maybe that's why they take so many in the first place, knowing the game they must play.

I really don't know or care that much on this, either way.
