Oh. I thought this was going to be about pasta dishes. Though I can see why some people might get so excited about them. All the pasta dishes I know of I am heartily enthusiastic about, and I have a damaged and much reduced sense of taste and smell so that's saying something.

Humans are awesome because we invented pasta. That is all.

All I can say is that pasta dishes make my world go 'round, it, in its various and amazing forms, is my favorite food.

I assume you're my pal until you let me know otherwise.

Riona, if you weren't already my email friend, you would be so friended for that.

Two words for you: pasta potluck. Someday. Padthai, teriyaki noodles, greek pasta salad, stirfry lo mein, pasta marinara, pesto, alfredo, and so on.

Yum

and I'll add carbonara, and a really nice simply garlicky tomato sauce.

Also fresh made pasta is far superior.

America loves a winner!

Pasta is great, but no, food hasn't ever given me that reaction.

A slight breeze, maybe, but not food.

I think that's called Diavolo, Hero. At least in red sauces.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the king of comfort foods; Lasagna.

I've only had carbonara once in my life, but yes, it has not broken the trend of all noodle dishes being delicious.

I can make a mean vegan macaroni and cheese, thick and tastes as creamy as the real stuff. Everyone says so.

Lasagna is also amazing.

A pinch of cinnamon can be good in a marinara sauce. I've also had a tomato sauce (not marinara) that was really good and some sort of sun dried tomato thing as well.
