There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

Nathan has had to drop out of the Philadelphia Wizard World convention due to a scheduling conflict. Summer, Adam and Jewel will still be there though, at least as of this time and date.

I just checked the Dallas Comic-Con page, and Nathan is still listed as a guest for next weekend. Good thing too, since I already pre-paid for my admission tickets and two autographs from him.

Adam Baldwin is going to be at this year's Florida Supercon in Miami over the July 4th weekend. It's the first time a BDH has appeared anywhere in Florida other than Orlando.

This is going to be a very "HOT" show, and I don't mean the temperature. Some of the guests include:

LAURIE HOLDEN
(The Walking Dead, X-Files, The Outer Limits, The Shield)

PRISCILLA BARNES
(Three's Company, Devil's Rejects,The Time Machine, License to Kill)

ERIN GRAY
(Buck Rogers, The Guild, Silver Spoons)

TRACI LORDS
(Blade, Not Of This Earth, Cry-Baby, Zach and Miri Make A Porno)

CINDY MORGAN
(Tron, Caddyshack, Tron 2.0)

So I've got a 30 minute drive to meet Adam Baldwin and press the flesh of Traci Lords! I just need to find that Buster Crabbe elastic undershirt that I bought in 1977.

NICE! Now thats what I call a sweet drive. Hope you have a good time, I'm sure you will!

Thanks a lot. I've been going to sci-fi cons for over 25 years. I've met hundreds of sci fi legends at these things, so I should be pretty used to it all by now. But meeting Traci Lords has me all knotted up in my head. I just hope I can keep it together when the magic moment arrives.

I'd be excited about seeing Erin Gray.
I'm pretty sure I started puberty a couple of years early because her Buck Rogers outfits...

Sounds like both Cons are going to be a blast, I wish I had the time and money to make it to one. Have fun!

Erin Gray has been a frequent guest at cons in Florida for over a decade. I've spoken with her many times and she's always extremely nice. She still looks fantastic, her body still capable of fitting into those sexy space outfits. She does a lot of charity work these days, and she's a great person who signs her pictures with "Love". That's always nice to get.

A few years ago Gil Gerard was at Megacon in Orlando signing at a table right next to Erin. I was very excited to meet him, but he turned out to be kind of grumpy, not really into the whole Buck Rogers thing. Maybe I just caught him on a bad day.

It doesn't really cost a lot of money to go to sci fi cons. I've never been out of state to attend the really big ones like Comic Con in San Diego or even Dragon Con in Atlanta. Fortunately there are many events right here in Florida that I enjoy going to. I usually start putting money aside six months in advance so I can get autographed pictures, buy comic books and other memorabilia, and eat and drink without worrying about money.

Gotta ask, of the many folks you've met, who are some that have left the most memorable impressions on you?

That's really tough to answer. All of the experiences are memorable in some way. A lot of it has to do with the circumstances at the time. But the best ones I can think of now are:

Guys:

Dirk Benedict
Nathan Fillion
Mark Sheppard
William Shatner
Jake Busey
Jack Stauffer
Walter Koenig
Jonathan Frakes
Gary Graham
George Takei
Gary Lockwood
Dean Stockwell

Gals:

Noel Neill
Tia Carrere
Catherine Hicks
Nichelle Nichols
Barbara Luna
Dawn Wells
Clare Kramer
Mira Furlan
Lindsay Wagner
Fairuza Balk
Anne Lockhart
Melody Anderson
Debra Van Valkenburgh
Sally Kellerman
Adrienne Barbeau
Cindy Morgan
Kristanna Loken
Jennifer Lien
Linda Blair
Tippi Hedren
and of course Jewel and Morena

I haven't been to that many cons, and it's just been since Firefly that I cared to do so. I've met all of the BDHs except for Summer, and while all of those experiences were great, does it make be a bad Browncoat to say that the person I got the biggest kick out of meeting was Clare Kramer? She was exceptionally friendly and upbeat, and beautiful to boot.
