On the top of Thursday's broadcast of his radio show, Sean Hannity revealed Erling Davis, the Obamacare operator he called early in his Monday show, got fired. Hannity quizzed her on how well the law is being received by applicants and she revealed no one liked it. Hannity had Davis on his show today and revealed he will give her a year's salary of $26,000 and help her find a new job.

Mother of 2, she was fired for talking live on the radio about ObamaCare.

She wasn't a govt employee, but worked for a company which was sub contracted out to perform the duties for the ObamaCare hotline.

You're not the arbiter of what is or is not a story. I get that you'd really like to keep quiet anything which may reflect poorly on Obama, or his O-care bill, or POSSIBLY show that conservatives really DO have a caring , human heart, but this actually IS a story.

She claims she wasn't told NOT to talk to the press. She wasn't given some suspension, she was fired. She didn't bad mouth the program, and gave honest, open answers. I guess THAT isn't allowed in your world either.

For those exact reasons, and because it's a news worthy story, it IS a story.

Sean did exactly what Barry told us to do. He called the number, and asked the helpful person at the other end basic questions, to which she answered. She was patient, courteous,... and for that, she gets canned?

Sean could have just left it at that, and bad mouthed the company. But no, he went even further and helped this gal out. How is that NOT a good thing ?

I find it highly unlikely that the private company that employed her issued no such guidelines anywhere in their contracts or code of conduct or where ever, and that she had no access to that information, even if it was fine-printed somewhere. I don't recall working anywhere in my life that would have tolerated giving spontaneous interviews to the press, during work hours, about the work of the company or it's clients. It wasn't a smart move on her part.

If it actually was not official policy, as she claims, and she was still legally fired just like that... well, that's lax employee protection for you, isn't it? I don't approve of it.

Gee, if she wasn't a government employee, then how can it reflect on Obama? If it was a private company, that's all it "reflects" on.

Was a nice thing for Hannity to do, tho' I doubt it was his own money and he certainly got both great p.r. and a good story out of it. Virtually every company I've ever worked for had non-disclosure policies and/or policies about talking tot he media.

And yes, people DO get fired every day, for reason or for no valid reason at all. Thankfully there are laws against the kind of idiocy Geezer is stupidly trying to suggest. Of course, that doesn't stop employers from doing precisely that, they just can't say out loud that it's 'cuz they "don't like your kind".

Yes, a non-story, except for puffed-up Hannity making it one and his sycophants like Rap wanting to use it just the way he intended.

It reflects on Obama because she worked the for the hotline for HIS disaster. Sean was only doing what Obama TOLD everyone to do, call the number and get your questions answered.

And for that, she got fired.

Just heard today, thanks in large part to Sean, she now has a NEW job, full time, w/ benefits.

Good for her and good for Sean, for stepping in and helping her out.

BTW - she said of all the folks who called in to the hotline, NO ONE had any positive things to say about Obama Care.

No one likes it.
