Tom Laughlin from the "Billy Jack" movies died last week. A cult figure from the 70's, he was 82.

Joan Fontaine, Oscar winning actress died last week at 96. She was the sister of Olivia de Havilland.

And a personal much-belated R.I.P. for Mary Murphy who died May 4, 2011. She was the girl who starred with Marlon Brando in "The Wild One'. She also starred in the Outer Limits classic episode "The Premonition". She was also in the sci-fi classic movie "When Worlds Collide". In her uncredited appearance she is standing next to Barbara Rush as a new recruit for the spaceship project. She was 80.

Joan Fontaine was in one of my favorite classic movies of all time "Jane Eyre" with Orson Welles. They made a great pair. She had a feud with her sister for something like sixty years, and I always wondered what was the truth behind all that.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Tom Laughlin and Joan Fontaine dying were bad enough, but Peter O'Toole really was a tough one.

You need to see Lawrence of Arabia, The Lion in Winter, Becket, The Ruling Class and My Favorite Year at least. Then if you like those you can track down others you may be interested in.

King Ralph is a very entertaining and enjoyable movie. If I had to choose to watch either Lawrence Of Arabia or King Ralph, I'd go with the latter every time.

I remember the Billy Jack movies. Sorry to hear of his passing. I wasn't a big fan of Joan Fontaine, but I didn't know that she was Olivia DeHavilland's sister.

R.I.P. all
