It looks as if two of three nations are beginning to turn the corner: new cases are down in Guinea and Liberia. Sierra Leone, however, has yet to definitively turn the corner.




Some of the original predictions for this month were as high as 60,000 cases. Currently, the case total is about 20,000. It appears that customs and expectations can be changed in the face of near-certain death.
