Hi fellow Browncoats!
Just joined this board (lurker for many, many months) and I was wondering if the person who is writing the science fiction novel called Cyberdrome is still on this board. His site, cyberdrome.org, is currently under construction or something, otherwise I would post there. Anyhoo, the firefly-related reason for bringing up this subject here, is that I have always thought that Jewel Staite would be wonderful as Stacy/Klaxxon in the Cyberdrome story (if it was ever made into a movie). The story at the site is illustrated and the person they have in that part doesn’t look like Jewel, but I think she could bring a lot to the character – especially later when I think she comes back into the story in disguise. Has anyone else read the series and see my point?

Anyhoo (again) – does anyone remember who the writer is? He used to post here and mentioned writing that other story and that’s how I heard of it. I’m posting this in “other sci fi series” so I hope it is not out of line.

Hi, it's just me again.
I just did a google search and found that the cyberdrome author goes by the handle JavidRho here (which is a character from the book). So, JavidRho, are you listening? I'm sure that you didn't think of Jewel when you wrote the part of Stacy/Klaxxon, but would you consider casting her if you ever make a movie. Sorry for babbling, but I just think she is perfect fom this part (and I'm sure the guys out there would love to see her in that see-through top in chapter 2

p.s. your site says that you are going back online this sunday (July 5th) - I hope there will be another chapter of the story waiting for me

Wow, I found you! Thanks for the update Mr. Rhea (or is it MR. Rho here ) I look forward to reading the new chapter next monday (it is still at cyberdrome.org, right? - I know you have that other site, rhea-fx.com, for your older games and such. Just want to be at the right place on Monday )

Regarding the tweaks to Serenity for the movie, I am not that bothered. I watched Firefly for the interactions of the main characters, not the sets, but I do understand your point though. There are a lot of people on this board (and the OB) who would be pissed off if Universal changed the ship very much, especially if Mr. Whedon didn't want to do it. Guess we will just have to wait until April to see.

Thank you again for writing back.
RiverChild - a big fan of both series.
