Allow me to blow your mind with a personal favorite song of mine when I was a sophmore in HS, back in like 1996 or so...

As fucked as both of my parents were at that time, somehow they agreed that we shouldn't watch MTV. I always disobeyed what they disagreed on, but for real, I didn't watch MTV and didn't allow my younger brothers to either while we were latchkey kids.

I like never saw music videos until late 90s because of this. Even knowing the words of this, it was beautiful

The idea of Lisa falling in love with a "nigger from the streets" isn't what bothers me.

What bothers me is modern day Lisa falling in love with a straight up Thug Nigga.

Lisa doesn't just break up from that relationship.

By the time she would, she's so dependent on hard core drugs that she does whateva a Nigga tells Lisa to do.

You and I live in a country we should find some great deal of pride living in, especially living in the Midwest.

When I was 5 years old, I heard "Born in the USA", and the WWF had Hulk Hogan beating the fuck out of clowns playing Iranians.

My point, Wish, is that it's kind of sad that there is world-wide-influence over your family and town these days.

I know it sounds Xenophopic for me to say this now, but more than 2/3rds of my life, even near Urban Chicago, I resisted it.
