I am a Farscape fanfic writer (and eventually a Firefly fanfic writer

) and am currently up for a Farscape Frelly Award for best long story and best short story, but I'm being defeated and would like to ask for your help.

My long fic is called "Left Behind" and can be found here. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1837922/1/ It runs about 95 pages in Word, so it is kinda long, but...

The short fic I'd like to see win is called "The Tell" and can be found here. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1837969/1/ It runs to about 10 pages in Word.

I'm not asking for you to vote for me sight unseen (or would that be word unread?

), but I would consider it a grand favor for you to check out my fics and give 'em a vote, if you feel they're worthy.

In order to vote, you'll have to go here. http://frelly.proboards25.com You'll need to register and they'll send you a password, but it's free and the board will go away after the votes are tabulated and the awards awarded. And did I mention that the awards will be given out at the Official Farscape Convention in November? Brian Henson will be there and I'm trying to get him to sign me up to write a Farscape novel or two.

Last important detail... Voting is only open through October 30.

By the way, if you're wondering, I've got some ideas about a fic dealing primarily with Jayne and River, but I haven't worked out the details yet and want to rewatch my DVDs before I really start working on it. If you read my 'Scape fics, I'd appreciate some feedback as to whether or not you'd like to see me write any Firefly fics.

Yes! You've got encouragement from my corner to write firefly fic. I really enjoyed the farscape stuff (good luck at the con and have fun--I'm quite jealous); you've got a great feel for the characters, and you write well. Pleasure to read, so I'd love to see how you work with this 'verse.
