"Something funny?" Jayne asked walking in.

"You have no idea," Mal answered.

"What so funny?" Leo asked.

Mal turned to look at her. "Why don't you just find out?"

"I'm not sure I want to know what's inside that thing you call a mind," Leo stated.

"I resent that."

Three days later...

"At least we don't have to worry about Jayne pulling a muscle in a zone I don't think Simon would ever want to go now," Jule joked.

"I don't think a lack of resources has ever stopped him." Mal retorted.

"Yeah, I know it never stopped you," Jule said.

"I thought we swore to never mention that again."

"Believe me, I've tried."

Mal paused. "Nah, not a good time."

"What?"

"I could tell you something now, but it's too soon," Mal said.

"You're toying with me," Jule said.

“Yeah, how’s that unusual?” Mal asked.

"It's not, except you don't normally know anything to toy me with." He paused. "What am I missing?"

"Nothing you wouldn't normally miss," Mal said.

"Uh, yeah, cause you haven't missed a trick when it comes to your women..."

Mal gave Jule a look. "Say another word and I'll shoot you."

"Come on. I don't think ya needed Leo to read everyone to find out how you two wanna sex each other up."

"You have no idea what your talking about."

"Don't you remember before me and Leo got together. You always said that her and I were almost the same person.And while that's not quite true about you and Inara-"

"I know what your saying," Mal interrupted.

"Then why don't you try."

Mal shook his head. "I don't know."

"Fifty says that that you're together inside a week."

Mal smiled. "I'll take those odds."
