Serenity did a barrel roll as it entered atmo. "Was that really necessary?" Mal asked.

"No," River answered. "It was for fun."

"I'd rather you not do that sort of piloting with my ship," Mal stated.

"Lay off her, she's just letting her hair down," Leo said in the co-pilot's seat.

"I said we can have one day to relax if we don't get contacted," Mal said.

"You know Inara wants to relax as well," River said.

"Well, she's working," Mal sighed. "So it's not like I'm liking it anymore than you."

"You're annoyed she's getting some and it's not from you," River said.

"Thin ice!" Mal stated.

They were interrupted by a beeping from the communication console. "We're getting hailed," Leo said.

"Docking Control?" Mal asked.

"No, it's an unknown signal," Leo accepted the signal.

A man in a bowler hat appeared on the view-screen. "Captain Reynolds," he said in his Cockney accent.

"Son of a bitch," Mal said.

"Is that anyway to treat an old friend?" Badger asked.

"We ain't friends," Mal stated. "And I'm not that old."

"Oh, well, perhaps I should get a more social crew to involve with this heist I was planning," Badger teased.

"I wondered why you'd be on Meadows."

"Well, I've been planning to rob a man by the name of Saul Hudson," Badger stated. "Man's been cutting into my operations back on Persephone for a while now."

"Is this the same Saul Hudson as the one who owns half the planet?" Mal asked.

"Well, I aim to force him to downsized his operations, both here and on Persephone," Badger explained.

"What do you need?" Mal asked.

"I take you've called us here for a reason, Captain," Kaylee said.

"Well, we've got a job...if we want it," Mal said.

"I'm not liking the mysteriousness," Jayne stated.

"I'm suprised you know a word that long, Jayne," Simon said. Jayne just stared at him.

"We're gonna have to rob a bank," Mal said trying to avoid a melee.

Jayne turned away from Simon to look at Mal. "What's so bad about that? We've robbed banks before."

"Not ones on worlds like this and not ones controlled by Saul Hudson," Mal stated.

There was a pause while that sunk in. "No, no we haven't," Zoe said. "Why, who wants to rip off one of the systems biggest players?"

"Badger."

Everybody reacted to that announcement. Except Jule. "Whose Badger?" he asked.

"Some pro criminal that they have history with," Leo answered.

"Oh, good."

"So.....we gonna do this or not?" Mal asked.

"You're giving us a choice?" Kaylee asked suprised.

"Don't sound so shocked," Mal said. "Well-"

"What do we have to do?"
