's Good. Think I recognize the shot upon which it's based, but the faces look just different enough for it to be a drawing (rather than photoshop). How'd you do that?

YT,
Actually the big picture and the "TMOTTB" quote are both wallpapers I got from a site, as are the four little pictures. The "FF" at the top is from downloading the font onto my computer and I just text-tooled that into the frame.

Well, I had noticed upper left & upper right (that one seems to be a thumbnail of the big picture), and I can make out the two-shot of Inara & Kaylee, from the Pilot, in the lower left, now that I'm looking for it. But I can't find a "four(th) little picture". Where & what is it?

YT,
It's down in the LR corner...I played too much with the fade tool. Told you it was my first :) Look for Mal in the very corner looking to your left.

I appreciate the feedback! Lesson learned...Friends don't let friends Photoshop late at night :)

How's this?

Well, I never got around to writing more verses for the opening song, but here's one verse I always had kicking around in my head. Now that Photoshop's getting a little easier I was able to put down some pictures with it.

Number three: the learning curve steepens
Well, I figured out (thanks to Whisper) that those little thumbnails come in bigger sizes. I also discovered a little more on layers and found something called the "smudge" tool...This time I also tried out an actual theme to the wallpaper as opposed to just throwing up some cool pictures.

THANKS TO ALL THE FANS WHO OFFERED ADVICE/FEEDBACK...You know who you three are :)

Whisper, you created a monster :)
Well, it's a steep learning curve but here's my 2nd crack at trying to create interesting wallpapers...I'm always in the mood for constructive criticism.

Thanks for looking! Mike
