Number three: the learning curve steepens
Thursday, March 24, 2005

Well, I figured out (thanks to Whisper) that those little thumbnails come in bigger sizes. I also discovered a little more on layers and found something called the "smudge" tool...This time I also tried out an actual theme to the wallpaper as opposed to just throwing up some cool pictures. THANKS TO ALL THE FANS WHO OFFERED ADVICE/FEEDBACK...You know who you three are :)

How do you do that 'bees nest' pattern? Is that a separate layer? Could it be a little less accentuated in the middle picture?

Right side is very good.
Left side: it would be even better if the 2 top pictures were a little more transparent (but just on their right side). You can use the eraser with a low opacity %.

It's great though. I'm just in a fanart-making-period now, so there's always details I want to change :)

I appreciate the feedback! Lesson learned...Friends don't let friends Photoshop late at night :)

How's this?

Well, I never got around to writing more verses for the opening song, but here's one verse I always had kicking around in my head. Now that Photoshop's getting a little easier I was able to put down some pictures with it.

Whisper, you created a monster :)
Well, it's a steep learning curve but here's my 2nd crack at trying to create interesting wallpapers...I'm always in the mood for constructive criticism.

Thanks for looking! Mike

My first crack at wallpaper: THANKS WHISPER !!
It's not much, but it's my very first and I've never used Adobe anything before...Thanks to Whisper for anything that's good here...bad on me for all the rest.
