Well, it's a steep learning curve but here's my 2nd crack at trying to create interesting wallpapers...I'm always in the mood for constructive criticism. Thanks for looking! Mike

I can immediately see that I probably should have stuck with one color...probably like the one that the Councilor is in.

No, actually, the other colors are nice... 'cept for maybe the pea-green one from Shindig... ;p

Mebbe just fade the other colours a smidge. The big image is beautiful.

I like the colors for setting those images apart from the major image. But as YT said, maybe fade the colors a smidge.

I do like the jaggedly puzzle piece motif, though - EXTREMELY appropos.

And I like the pea green - although it may be a more appropriate color for Atherton than for Inara. Otherwise the use of primary and secondary is good.

The purple is what strikes me as a bit too intense. It suits her, being the color of royalty and her so regal. However, it pulls the eye (at least this one) directly down to that corner.

Wow. Great job.

I quite like the colours but did notice that there are some pixelated bits around the top and left edges.

I hope you're going to do some of the other characters too!

I appreciate the feedback! Lesson learned...Friends don't let friends Photoshop late at night :)

How's this?

Well, I never got around to writing more verses for the opening song, but here's one verse I always had kicking around in my head. Now that Photoshop's getting a little easier I was able to put down some pictures with it.

Number three: the learning curve steepens
Well, I figured out (thanks to Whisper) that those little thumbnails come in bigger sizes. I also discovered a little more on layers and found something called the "smudge" tool...This time I also tried out an actual theme to the wallpaper as opposed to just throwing up some cool pictures.

THANKS TO ALL THE FANS WHO OFFERED ADVICE/FEEDBACK...You know who you three are :)
