This chapter has been a complete labour of love. Basically, it has been in development since August 2006. There was a moment that I actually thought that I’d never get this damned thing finished, but I’m glad that it’s finally done. The extreme nature of the plotline was quite tricky to handle. After the horrific events of chapter two, I was pretty stuck on how to proceed. The subject matter is delicate, so I didn’t want to disrespect it. I wanted to veer away from the horror action, and instead focus on much deeper emotions. This chapter really gets into the heads of the characters, in the aftermath of chapter two, and I hope that it is conveyed on the screen. This is the dawn of a new story arc in the Resurgence series.
