I made one, but had a small mental breakdown and could only think of the highly silly 'queendom of Sereniville' as a name. doesn't sound like to bad a place, taxes are a bit high.

May go bck and make an evil totalitarian state of the evil and pernicious cheese men.

or maybe think of something that doesn't sound cute and fluffy.

I don't know, I just don't think i've got it in me to be truly rampantly evil. About the most I can muster is 'bad girl'

Poena Letum is my new and improved dictatorship.

I'm a bit dissapointed, it's the diet coke of opressive, one calorie opressing not opressive enough:

The Republic of Poena Letum is a tiny, pleasant nation, remarkable for its complete absence of social welfare. Its hard-nosed, cynical population of 6 million are kept under strict control by the oppressive government, which measures its success by the nation's GDP and refers to individual citizens as "human resources."

The medium-sized, corrupt government devotes most of its attentions to Law & Order, with areas such as Social Welfare and Religion & Spirituality receiving almost no funds by comparison. The average income tax rate is 20%, but much higher for the wealthy. A robust private sector is led by the Pizza Delivery, Door-to-door Insurance Sales, and Retail industries.

Elections have been outlawed. Crime is moderate. Poena Letum's national animal is the snake and its currency is the poena.

ok, seeing as I'm never going to be convincingly evil, I decided to go all unashamedly Firefly.

The Kingdom of Sereniville is a tiny, safe nation, remarkable for its burgeoning Albatross population. Its hard-nosed, intelligent population of 5 million are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

The government -- a sprawling, bureaucracy-choked, socially-minded morass -- juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Healthcare, and Social Welfare. The average income tax rate is 45%, but much higher for the wealthy. A small but healthy private sector is led by the Gambling industry, followed by Woodchip Exports and Basket Weaving.

Crime is well under control, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Sereniville's national animal is the Albatross, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Strawberry.

The motto is 'Changin' Things By Gettin' all Bendy'(thank you to the person whos sig that was)

and I used the green Shiny! avatar thing as a flag. (thank you Kelly)

I might do a farscape nation next with really liberal sex laws, main export of crackers and a scary-ass peacekeeper like police force.

But if you really didn't like it, you coulda just asked us to shut up.

Hey all,
Sorry for being MIA the past few days. I'm just about to reformat the hard drive here at home, but will be working the next several days, so, i'll stay in touch from there, until I get fully functional here again.

If I had the time (maybe after the fully functional bit) I would make a nation of my own.

Always Liked John Cusack, not as much as I liked Christian Slater, but they were both highly entertaining.

Oh yeah....still on the water. Finished day 9. typing skills have degenerated, but otherwise, feeling well.

Seeing as no one has voiced any interest of the return of a certain individual, who shall remain nameless at this juncture, I propose that the next floor not be numbered and only reffered to as "yet another floor."

It was at one time customary (a custom in some places enforced by law) to skip 13 when numbering floors. What a quaint notion, I aprove.

How about The Lost Floor? or The Floor of 3 and 10? or The-Floor-That-Shall-Remain-Numberless?

Or just focus on the thirteenth being the most horrendously unlucky floor there is (for some) and just call it Human Resources.

Hmm. Is it possible to lock threads on this board?

We could open the 13th floor, then immediately wall it up.

Or perhaps jump to the 14th floor, but have a hidden (non "Hidey-Place") thread as the secret 13th floor (like the elevator doesn't go there, so you have to use the stairs from 12 or 14).

The apartment building I used to live in had inherited its elevators from another building, so the elevator counter went up to 15, even though we only had 12 floors. It was a running joke that the top three were top-secret VIP suites. . .

And Citizen does make a valid point.

I bet he's forgotten all about it by now. What do you think?

And though we can't wall up or exclude people from a thread, we don't have to talk to them if we don't to.

So..further discussion on the subject?
