Yep, a croquembouche is basically a really big pile of profiteroles, filled with cream (chocolate and vanilla), stuck together with caramel sauce and little sweet wafers, then decorated with more caramel and sugared almonds.

The profiteroles were the size of golf-balls, too.

Guess who doesn't have a lunch-break today?

Well, if you can feel good eating like that, good for you and congrats! I have too many blood sugar problems in my family history, though. Not that I restrict myself, you know, I just don't eat nothing but chocolate and fruit and steaks/burgers made from human flesh! I eat a lot of fruit, as many veggies as I can stomach, a little bit of chocolate, and steaks and burgers made of buffalo flesh, mostly

I recently got into the pancakes thing. Husband makes sourcream pancakes for breakfast, and we have maple syrup and that really thin, salty shattery bacon with them. I totally get the whole syrup and pig thing now!
