I fixed it this morning. I had overlooked this thread, and created another, it's now been taken over by Voudoo Nell. Yay.
See this is what happens when people create new threads without closing the old one and tagging it with a link to the new.
Hope all is well with everyone. I'll be working all day, but I'll try to check in when everyone is relaxing here. See you all soon.

Did you ever get the ritter bars I sent you from Germany? I sent them via SerenityPunk, I know she had a package sent back to her as a twisted melted mess, don't know if the ritter was in it.

I just cooked a huge curry, everything made from scratch, Onion Bhajis, Bombay Potato, Sweet and Spicy Chicken, Naan Bread and Popadoms. Took me over two hours to prepare.

I kept sneaking bits as I was cooking it, and ate a couple of the onion bhajis so by the time it was all ready I was full...

Oh well roast curry tomorrow.

But a kid in my band went to Germany in July and brought me some back. All sorts of nummy flavours.

And I'm glad your curry turned out well. Still sore you didn't invite me over for dinner.

I haven't made my curry yet, but I shall! It's a curry day.

It is the perogative of the young to be niave. Enjoy your hangover.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Rum is made from sugar cane, most often from the carribean. Why would anyone want to get rum made in England? It would be like geting Gin that was made in Chile and Ouzo that was made in Canada.

I still don't see the point of paying for Rum that was made in England. You can get rum that is just as good made closer to home, say in Puerto Rico, without having to pay the extra cost of shipping the raw materials to England and then pay the cost of shipping the finished product back across the Atlantic to the US. I mean to hell with that. Conspicuos consumption of alcohol to me is chugging a fifth, not having to mortgage parents house just to buy a shot.

Or is this claim that Pussers is English a false flag? Is it in fact really made in the carribean and just has a label thrown on it that says it's english because the company is own by someone in England?
People buy the Mercury Tracer because they think it's a "american" car, when in fact it's a Mazda made in Mexico. Lots of Chrysler products are mitsubishis made in Japan. Blauplunkt car stereos are made in Indonesia, not Germany. Sony electronics are more likely made In the US and Mexico than in Japan.

1) Two wrongs a right do not make. So even assuming 'You've been fired' is more annoying than 'Wake me up before you go go.' (an admission I'm not prepared to make) it is still no excuse.

2) The US is far from the sole practitioner of the crime of Reality TV. *cough* Pop Idol *cough cough*

3) Independence Day is a kinda fun little movie. Certainly not the greatest movie of all time but lots of prety explosions and a number of reasonably talented actors chewing up the scenery and it's all good.

4) Don't make me go through the Hammer Films catalog.

5) Did I mention Scary Spice yet?

1) The wrongs of Wham pale in comparision... Wham is gone, Reality TV endures.
2)The Us invented it. The Americanisation of British culture is a problem I have already admitted to.
3)Independence Day is a crime, and the worst thing Will Smith has ever done. That's saying something.
4)You can if you want. *Cough*Troma Entertainment*Cough*

But think of all the GOOD things that America has produced: apple pie, baseball, peanutbutter m&ms.

And the Brits have given us rugby and Monty Python and crunchies.

See? Everyone has something to offer.

So, shake hands and make up, everyone.
