It's reported on sky news, but there's nothing about it on BBC that I can see.

Man, that crash was more than a little horrific just hear about, let alone see. As long as he agrees to it, no harm done s'pose, seeing as how well he's doing.

Well it might be true. We'll see, but with the BBC trying to take top gear off the air after the crash it would be surprising.

More insane ramblings by the people who brought you beeeer milkshakes!
No one can see their reflection in running water. It is only in still water that we can see.

Now I am learning about scary.

They can show it, but I don't think I want to see it. (shudder)

A little more info has come to light since...

Hammond agreed to the show, and the BBC are planning to do a special show on the crash so viewers can see all the preparation and safety checks that were done beforehand. It's pretty much being broadcast so they can silence the critics who said they were careless.

Makes sense. Suppose it will be quite intersting to see, well, up to the crah anyhow. But knowing he's ok, shouldn't be too bad to watch...

yeah, i haven't heard anything since - i don't watch or read news regularly and missed it - how is he doing?

and as long as he's agreed to it, theres no problem, 'cept you know all those folk who tune in to see it will be the same ones who slow down to gawp at crashes on the motorway, or are pushing the barriers at crime scenes. Sick vultures basically. Its going to get high ratings and thats kinda sad.

Last I heard, despite "severe brain injuries", he's expected to make a full recovery. Well, as near to full as possible, anyhow...

Everyone new he was gonna do well after the first time he woke up and saw James May, he insulted him! Remarkable, really. Just goes to show that all the safety prep beforehand worked well enough to save his life.
