Any chance I could get you to do "Every Action Movie Ever Made"?

Maybe later. I commemorated Pearl Harbor Day in my usual way - I got bombed - and I'm feeling just a bit uncreative at the moment.

Is this the right thread for perusing 70's era Italian existentialist films?

I also wonder if angst is an inherent component of existentialism.

Considering the basic tenets of existentialism, I'd have to say it's like to be full of angsty goodness. The constant serach to define ones' own value and meaning, since we exist before we have either, through an examination of our freedoms and choices can only lead to the understanding that the 'verse is absurd. Seeking order in the chaos. yup.

You mean films about middle aged film directors who reminisce about discovering love from the neighborhood prostitutes while growing up in pre-war fascist Italy while having crises of identity and faith all while going through the motions of cheap meaningless sex affairs with 19 year old bikini models?

Sure peruse away.

Coming to theaters this summer. From the assistant to the co-executive producer of "The Fugitive 3: This One Is Guilty" and the people who catered "Die Hard 5: Die Harderest With Vengeance And A Side Salad" comes the gripping action adventure you won't be able to miss the commercials for "Lethal Explosions."

When a good man's world is turned upside down by the brutal murder of the prostitute that once gave him a discount on a hand job the only rule is, "If it moves shoot it if it doesn't move blow it up." With nowhere to turn and no one to trust The Man With The Chin Of Granite will seek bloody yet justifiable revenge within and outside of the law as he fights a conspiracy of monumental proportions to protect his loved ones, his friendly aquaintances, and even a few homeless guys that would probably not be such bad sorts if they had gotten a break here and there.

Don't be the last one at your sports bar to suffer permanent hearing loss at "Lethal Explosions" Comming this summer. This motion picture has not been filmed yet.

No I didn't, "brutal murder of the prostitute that once gave him a discount on a hand job" Admittedly a fairly crass interpretation of the murdered love interest meme but still there.

For those who haven't been following the Flanvention II fiasco turned Flan B Success, Our Tim Minear showed up, Among many other true BDHs. He showed a vid which is now available riiiiiiiight ovvvvver here:

clips of various stuff he's done from Angel, Firefly, Wonderfalls, and The Inside. More importantly it includes the clip from the never aired in the US 13th episode of The Inside which included a little nod to Serenity. and the Serenity Theme played over footage of Firefly is pleasing. plus..... first sceneage from "Drive"!

Enjoy!

This morning, the funny Buffy episode where she's convinced her roommate is a demon was on.

Of course the roommate does turn out to be a demon, but it's still funny.

It reminds me of my first semester in college and my uberannoying roommate.

She would be up till 2am on the phone with her fiance and then would set her alarm for 6am and then hit snooze until 7.

Of course, I'm sure I was annoying, too. I had a habit (still do) of sitting in bed reading or studying and then leaving the books on the floor by my bed because I'm too lazy to get out of bed to put them away.
