I was tested for allergies a couple days ago. Turns out I'm allergic to cats (lol), very allergic to dust (i'm in the wrong profession, then), and allergic to grass, trees, mold, and a couple other things.

Yay me!

40's a landmark or any thread. I just had to drop in and see how everyone's doing.

So what's up, gang?

(Will check back later tonight, got a crew going out to a pub in lieu of the fact that none of us can do anything for St. Patty's Day tomorrow.)

What? We're a gang now? When did that happen. Hey Serenity why didn't you tell me this was a gang. I would've brought along clever disguises to throw off, 'The Man'. Oh, cheesit, I think that's him now.

I have a habit of turning phrases the other way. Frequently verbing the wrong way down a one way sentence.

Well, at least now you know. There are worse things to be allergic to. I'd miss (some) cats, but most of the other stuff could be hard to avoid, I mean there's always dust. Grass and trees can be hard to avoid, 'less you move to NYC. Mold, good to always avoid that.
Hope you are well, missed you around here.

Yeah, I'm not really bothered by it...funny, really. As far as the cats, well, we're not getting rid of them, so I'll deal (as i have always dealt). I'm supposed to get two shots every week, now, to build an immunity to those things. Dust is around me everywhere, and it of course figures that dust is what i'm the most allergic to, ha.

I've missed ya brother and everyone else, just been super busy here at work. Should calm down in about a month, maybe. LJ is blocked here now, so I'll have to update it from home sometime (since Jade noticed i haven't updated it in over 2 months, haha).

Hey, I hope the shots work well and quickly. Glad to see you popping in here when you can. Hopefully the work calms down soon. My work might ease up in June. It's been crazy lately. It's not fun getting attacked by people you're trying to care for. But they just don't perceive reality in the same way. Delusions can be freeing I guess. Enjoy a green beverage or a Guinness tonight for ol' st. paddy.
And I'll see you soon.
Take care of yourself, Brother.

I used to be allergic to cats. 'Course, by the time this was discovered, I already had a cat, and ended up building up a natural immunity. The cats are my friends now.

My very first kitty was a black cat with a little white bib.(which as a very intelligent 5 year old I named Blackie) The first time she had her own kittens she had 12! I had her until we moved back to Misery and then she wasn't very happy and ran off.

Hey,
My first (only) kitty was Cleo. Named for Cleopatra. I was very young. She ran away when we went on vacation, guess she thought we abandoned her. Even though a brother's friend had been tasked with coming by to feed her.
Not to pick, but I love the "whilst living in Misery, she wasn't very happy."
Just struck me as funny. Not that it's any surprise that I see things from a rather odd perspective.

SERYN

hello!

well, you all know the joy i'm currently having with my own (unsurprisingly) stray black kitty. While i was away she scratched all the healed over bits away on her ear again. Grrrrr.

The funny thing is, where ever i go a cat, usally black, will turn up. I long ago accepted that cats either like me and feel i need an honour guard, or feel that i need closely supervising.

i'm tempted to to think honour gurad or they would have replaced Fey with a younger less senile (non-junkie) operative.

but yeah - all through college when fay wasn't with me, within a couple of weeks of mooving into a place, a cat would turn up. My favorite was Sutz (he was little with huge ears that made nim look kind of egyptian) Apart from Fay of course.

Well, S4 was fantastic fun, much drinking, much viewing of gorgeous Glasgow, and much chilling in the chill out room playing bowling on the wii and watching stuff. There was a podcast too - a quiz which was good fun, and all the usual con activities, the panel with Jonathon Woodward and Neil Roberts (from Charmed) was a scream, but not at all for the faint of haeart, and Jonathon called me wonderful, almost snoged my ear and practically gave me permission to stalk him.

Oh the larks.

Isn't sanity really a one trick pony, anyway? I mean all you get is one trick, rational thinking! But when you're good and crazy...ooh hoo hoo hoo... the skys the limit!

My bad. I meant MORE Browncoat Famous. She'll be surrounded by BC paparazzi who will photograph her every move and hope for a glance of the ear the JW snogged. They'll dig through her trash and sell her empty candy wrappers on ebay for exorbitant amounts. Her clothing choices will be discussed in endless forums and if she gets a hair cut, every female Flan will rush out to get the same one.

you could just hire someone to give them syphilis.

the quote 'lawyers should never marry lawyers - this is called in-breeding, and results in idiot children and more lawyers' spring to mind, but with all the 'lawyers' changed to 'estate agents'.

the last estate agent i met had a banana yellow beetle (and not even a vintage beetle, one of those new ones) and a hair like a seagull hat shat bleach on his head.

i had little respect for him. And his kind.

Ooooooh, more stories? okies, well, JW and NR were on one panel - if they do one again just hand them a whiskey and a few props and sit back for an hour - it's pointless asking them questions.
though i was kinda dissapointed that that wierd foreign artsy fartsy director/film student didn't try to ask them one of those long rambling over complicated questions (which are basically her trying to get them to write her dissertation for her or something)(at least i hope she's a film student cause otherwise she's just pretentious and irritating) (miow!)

They were kind of merciless, and rather too fond of each others genital regions - the pelvic floor muscle story was funny escpecially the look on peoples faces as Neil told every one to stand up - the 'i'd like to think i'm game, but actually i'm scared as hell' and all eyeing up the next one to judge how bad touching their nethers would be... it took Neil promising that he wouldn't make them touch each other for more than a few to stand up. i did notice one sat down... meanwhile, Jonathan is on his back on the stage having a good feel of Neils 'pelvic floor muscle' and Neils barely keeping a straight face.

priceless.

the meet and greet was a bit of a bust - we had no table, and that made us invisible to most of the guests, which is a pity as i would have loved to chat to Ron Glass. We did talk to Neil though - strangely awkward, and the twins Raphael and Yan (Fanty and Mingo, or Fanta and Vimto as they will now forever be known) One of them Raphael i think reminds me an awful lot of my friend Aimees boyfriend. though not the other, strangely enough for identical twins... they definetly look different - you can tell them apart, you'd just have to spend a lot of time with them before you learned which was which.
i haven't therefore i can't tell you who is actually prettier.
And as an interesting aside - it made Simonwho v jealous, as i was wearing a new (unroad tested) dress, which turned out to be quite revealing, and being a man, (i think it was) Yan's eyes kept sliding south. And that was the first evening - way before the JW snog. He's a forgiving man!

Ron had a panel on his own that was good - people would ask him questions and he'd go off on long tangents, then laugh when he had to ask what the question was again and it was nothing to do with what he'd just spoken about. He has a very good laugh.

Sean, as he won't tell you much himself, got very drunk and even more hung over, and spent a lot of time talking to a very pretty brunette. I'm not sure who she was but they seemed to get on well. I'm proud of the fact that i didn't pry.

the one thing i regret i didn't do was find out who from her was going and arrange to meet them at some point - but there will be others hopefully

the next one they announced will be Infinity, and Adam Baldwin will hope fully be there. So fingers crossed for a lottery win/200% wage increse/new job
