Just discovered this show, which i'm sure you all will have heard of before. It's called 'Supernatural', basically two brothers travel around America hunting evil whilst searching for their father who dissapeared whilst he was hunting the demon that killed their mother.
Initial reaction: Quite good, the plots are sometimes a bit bland but on the whole not bad. And they use folk-lore and traditional american monsters rather than going for the standard demon, werewolf, vampire types.
What did you guys think?

I may wear brown but theres a little purple mixed in there to.

My best friend is a browncoat and she is more addicted to Supernatural than Firefly - she is like I am here on the Supernatural sites!!

I love it too - but not in the same way I love Firefly!

NEEDY

The road to Hel is paved with good intentions

Hey, I'm watching it at the moment too!

I watched the first episode when it was on, but didn't really continue to watch it. I watched the first handful originally but then stopped a) because there were other shows I was trying to juggle watching and b) it was on like 11pm on Thurs night - even if I did remember it was on, I couldn't be bothered to record it.

Anyway, that was then.
I watched one from season two a few months back and really liked it so decided to buy season 1 (It was on offer)

The last one I watched was "Skin" which was excellent, and had some quite strong stuff in it for a tv show... and for a network show at that.
I'm beginning to love it.

I've not read the comic prequel but I did think about picking it up. I wanted to check out what other people thought about it first - didn't want to spend money on another mini-series that didn't deliver the goods
