Now I am learning about scary.

I'm surprised I haven't seen this posted already. For all you "Chuck" fans, there's going to be an episode in 3-D next Monday. If you go to the NBC website, it lists locations where you can get the 3-D glasses. (I hate those, but I'll give 'em a try for Chuck.)

This ought to be somewhat interesting.

EDIT: Here's the link: http://www.nbc.com/Chuck/

They really need to work on the advertising of this. I'd heard about it but had no idea how it would work. I guess I'll have to go get some 3D glasses this weekend. Really weird promotion. Thanks for the heads up on picking up glasses.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I've been trying to find the glasses in my area but no luck so far. There are only three retailers on that list in my town, so hopefully I can find them at Target on Saturday.

BTW, don't bother calling that phone number to request glasses to be mailed. They are no longer sending them out, either because they don't have any more or they know they wouldn't be able to ship them in time.

Did you have any luck?

I went to our Dillons (Kroger) store and they had a big display with a huge box full of them, which surprised me. Apparently they're going to do something in 3-D during the Super Bowl, too? It says to tune in at the end of the 2nd quarter.

I'm pretty sure I read someplace that the commercial break in the superbowl is to be an all 3D run of commercials.

The display at Target was not easy to spot. It was on the end of a valentine's day candy aisle. None of the employees I asked had any clue. A guy in the store overheard me asking and told me where to find it. Nothing on it about Chuck either btw. There was a TON though.

Good luck.

I got mine at Target today. Didn't go looking for a display, just asked the person at the service counter if they had them. She didn't know anything about them, called her supervisor, who also didn't know, then another employee walked up and said they were in a room just behind the service desk. Really organized there. But I got 'em.

I know one of the commercials that is going to be in 3-D will be a trailer for the movie Monsters and Aliens, and maybe a few others. I figure they will also run that commercial during Chuck so I'll catch it there. Since I hate football I won't be watching the Super Bowl at all.

I got my 3-d glasses at Target. Had to ask a employee and she pointed like a couple feet away and there they were.

The commercials were fairly unimpressive. Bleh. We'll see how the episode works out tonight. Oh and did anyone take a while for their eyes to adjust after taking the glasses off after the commercials? How bad is it going to be after wearing them for an hour? lol

In Canada, for some silly reason, we don't get to see American commercials. They get bleeped out with canadian ones. So we don't get the cool superbowl ones...grrrr.

Also uber annoying, the glasses aren't being carried anywhere in Canada!!! I mean come on! We are right beside US! Couldn't Wal-mart splurge a little to get them across the border?

So my sis bought some on e-bay...grumble grumble...I have to tape it so I can watch it once the bloody glasses come in.

They're just the regular old Red cellophane over the left eye and Blue cellophane over the right, so maybe if you can't find pre-made glasses, you can just make some yourself?

I checked in to the SuperBowl long enough to see the commercials to see how the 3D stuff worked and I thought it was kinda cool. The glasses will be annoying to wear for an hour tonight, but it might be worth it...

I liked the show as usual but did get a bit of a headache, made worse by the Heroes ep that followed.

It was cool to see the show in 3D. Some parts weren't as noticeable as others, but when it was, it was quite cool

I got a headache from wearing the glasses, too.

My glasses set had a bad blue side where it blurred the right hand side and I had to take the glasses off every commercial break to give my eyes a rest.

Yeah I took mine off to give my eyes a rest too. I don't think the effects were worth the hassle. It wasn't the funniest episode but it worked. I didn't like the payoff of seeing Sarah shoot that guy either. It was a major issue one second and then he was over it. lame

I think Chuck was over it because of what he'd had to do to keep the rock star safe.

I think he found a bit of understanding. May still not like it, but I think he could understand it more.
