I've got my fingers crossed for Christina

Except for her I have little interest in this show, none of my favs are nominated. Plus it's up against a football game so good luck to them.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I care as much about the Emmys as I do the Oscars, which is very little. It's all a popularity contest with political overtones within the TV Academy, which rarely results in the best shows getting the awards.

If I did care anything about it, I would say I hope Friday Night Lights, Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton all win, but since that is unlikely to happen I suppose I should just be grateful they were finally nominated after five years of great work.

Unless Castle and Community are nominated for something, or people from those shows are presenting, I have no interest in the Emmys this year. Even Jimmy Fallon isn't hosting this year, so one less reason to care.

Oh, they did last year. And the Oscars earlier this year.

(Also during last year's Emmys) the group on Community were in some episodic commercials for a car company. Chevy, Toyoda, Nissan-- I can't remember which.
