America loves a winner!

So, I'm over at another site, and the issue of recycled movies comes up. New Superman, new Spiderman, new Mad Max, new Terminator , new Jurassic World ( Crichton passed away some 6 years go. FYI ) ...

So I mention that instead of recycling old movies, it sure would be nice if they'd give us something new and original, like Firefly. Right away, others chimed in and said they LOVED Firefly (and Serenity ), and how awesome it'd be to have THAT brought back.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I occasionally get shout-outs for the various T-shirts I own, but not often enough. So far no one has ever commented on the Fruity Oaty Bar shirt, which is the one I'm wearing today.

I got a couple shout outs while wearing my browncoats shirt. I don't recall the Fruity Oaty Bar shirt, I will look it up after this post, sounds cool. I would wear more Firefly shirts if they were a bit more subtle and the logos were on the back of the shit. Many to me are a bit grandiose or loud for my taste.

I love this shirt but the logo needs to be on the back or I would never consider wearing it, maybe at a convention.

A couple summers ago I was winding my way through some construction detour in SE Wisconsin, and noticed the minivan in front of me had gobs of stickers on the rear window and panel. When I got close enough at a stop, saw that the one in the center, above the keyhole, was Serenity. Then I rushed to observe that most of the rest were Firefly related.
That picked up my mood for the remaining hours of the trip.

On the Fruity Oaty Bar shirt, the octopus from the video is on the back, with the slogan "Not Mandatory."

I also have one that has the Chinese symbols for Serenity on the front with the ship on the back.

I think having a logo only on the back is very rare.

It is rare but I am hopeful they will try doing a few more that way.

When I go out, I put a cardigan or light overshirt on.
So my T-shirts need the message on the front.
