That's sad about your cat. I've had three cats in my life, with one that disappeared and the other two living long lives (the third is still with us but getting on now, constantly drooling but still agile enough to catch birds).

I'm ashamed to say, I never saw this post...

Thanks very much for the sentiments. As some of you may know, Sam passed quietly on January 28. I came home from work, after stopping at the vet to pick up his medications, and found him lying on the floor (it was around 4:30, I figure he must've died about 3-4 hours before then).

I've got his ashes on my shelf, next to a bag of catnip...
