Also had a small seizure yesterday and the only one who noticed was the head lady that I was playing with. She called my name several times to get me back. I wasn't gone very long and I have everything written down.

Oh dear.

You've mentioned a few things that made me wonder if your seizures were adequately controlled. Even things like a hand jerking could be symptomatic. Just let your neuro know. Keep him/her updated every time something happens, otherwise they don't know what's going on. One option is to add another med but if I were your neuro Id do a sleeping EEG (can be done at home) and get a CAT scan. Both are relatively cheap.

Neuro has been told about the hand shaking and it is a side effect of the new med.

Hand shaking is one thing. Jerking is a different thing. Only you know which you have.

I am deciding whether or not to tell about this one. When I told him about the ones that have occurred here at home, he always asks for witnesses. I live alone. So, do I go into his office and tell him or not. I am as I said deciding on that.

Why would you not tell him? You have a witness!
It seems stupid that he would keep asking you for witnesses but I know why he does it. A lot can be determined from what happens in the first few moments. Do the eyes deviate? If so, to what side? Does the head turn? Does person make chewing motions, fumble purposelessly with their fingers? Do they go pale? Pupils widen? Or do they just go blank? All diagnostic.
Is there an easier way to get in touch with Dr? Over here they're very big on portals, where people can log in, see their test results ( and scare themselves to death), message doctors, request refills, pay bills etc. Also, they like telemed a lot, scheduled appointments by video app. But that's no good if Dr needs to do an exam.

It is shaking and as I have said before it is not all the time.

SIG, I do know why he asks for witnesses. Yes, there are ways to contact docs up here on the computer but with this thing I can't do any of that. No apps like that on this computer.

I know I should make an appointment to go in but this comes down to me hating me poked and prodded at. Will decide. But the lady who saw me said I had just stopped.

Well, well, well. All 4 of the washing machines were working today. Bright, sunny day in spite of rain coming.

SIGNY: You don't need an app for portal communication, it's all handled on their end. All you need to do is go to their portal website and create an account.

You DO need an app for telemed (my healthcare providers use their own, but many use Zoom or something similar) so no help there.

If your seziures start as focal, they sure generalize awfully fast.

You posted that your hand jerked when you were typing so I assumed that's what the problem was.

I know what you mean about too many Dr appts. I've been referred to orthopedic surgery for tumors (probably benign) found in my leg ... I'll probably go to that one .... but also for bunion and skin conditions that I'm going to skip. Still, I think you need to keep your neuro informed.

My hand jerks on the computer when I have a small seizure but when I am using the mouse or sometimes if my left hand is still, they will shake. Sometimes when I am writing too, so I have to really concentrate at times. Like in the bank.

I understand now. But this computer doesn't have a camera so, I can't use zoom. I can do telephone but I prefer in person doc appointments. Just me and the neurologist's office is only a bus ride away and not a far walk from the local hospital.

Having tumors removed in my opinion is a good thing. I often wonder if I should get my feet checked for bunions because down the right side of my right foot I can feel something every so often. Don't know about that either.

I will see what next week brings. Fair number of things to do and I've been rearranging them in my head.
