Glad the temps are too your liking. I hope you can get everything done for your week.

There are times when I think I could use a hepa but just can't swing it money wise and those things are heavy to get home. So nope. I just try to keep up with dust the best that I can.

My corner is sitting at 80F right now. Need to get my hair washed this heat is bringing out all the oil in it. Then clean and an email to send. Done with BC publishers and we are back to National.

Email sent might possibly have a face to face meeting with the lady helping me. She's offered either Thursday or Saturday. She doesn't drive far anymore and so her husband will bring her out and go and see his mother. Then pick her back up again.

So, do I. I have to hope back on the National Book publisher train before I see her. And check my email to see what she said. She's off at a poetry reading up the coast a ways. Won't be back until tomorrow but she might have got back to me on Sunday. I can still answer email.

Horrible afternoon at mah jong. Couldn't go out for nothing. One decent hand with all 4 flowers and that was it.

Wow, still 80 at 8:30?? At least around here it cools down in the evening! It's 70 (21C) right now (8:45).

Got back a while ago. Mah jong was so-so this morning. Managed to go out 5 times but that was about it.

The weather was supposed to cool down. It did, a bit, but also got pretty humid. Bleh.

Nonetheless I decided the weeds couldn't wait. The aptly named puncture vine was getting out of hand, and needed to be pulled before it could develop those noxious seeds that really do puncture bicycle tires and soft soled shoes and feet. I managed to get all the ones on either side of the walkway, and tomorrow I'll check next to the driveway.

It's too bad that it has such noxious seeds bc otherwise it would make a pretty, drought tolerant low growing groundcover.

Also don't you hate it when the grocery store decides to move everything around. Twice in the last week I have had to ask where something is because the grocery store has decided to move everything around. Margarines been moved. Cereals have been moved. What was the candy aisle is now the soup aisle.

More than once, when wearing Crocs (rubberized clogs) or soft-soled shoes, I'd feel something really poking into my foot, take off my shoe to shake out a stone and still have that painful spot. It wasn't until I figured out to look at the bottom and found a seed spike stuck thru the sole far enough to actually poke a small hole in my foot that I solved the problem.

I know and it is starting to drive me buggy. I don't think the veggies will get away with out being moved either but not sure. I know the deli is safe. I walked into the cereal down around where the cheese is or was. That's been moved to where the margarine was. Ugh!

Ouch, that is really nasty. Maybe you have to wear something like a running shoe when you are out in your yard.

Back and done. Grocery store is a disaster. Had to ask for help again and another lady needed the clerk after me. Ran into a lady I know. She used to work at my local library, she asked me if I was playing a new game, "Find the product." Had to tell her that I was.

Also emailed my friend in UK to find out how her son's wedding went. She said it got off wonderfully but she fell apart when she got home. She's getting a new kitty tomorrow, so that will cheer her up a bit.
