Well, in all honesty I rather doubt they have sufficient cause - primarily since that isn't even what it's about.

Thing is, I can't see the guy as being abusive, not intentionally anyways, and it's not like there are not other adults around to help take care of them, so if he had been at any time, word would get out, especially concerning someone who has paparazzi practically climbing up his ass with a telescope, yes ?

And no, I didn't actually see/hear whatever rant, not that I care - cause a parent is not and never has been the sole source of a growing childs values, in many cases, not even the primary one.
Hell, I always treated my mothers racism with the same strained tolerance and eye rolling that I do PN ranting about jews, being that I considered it moronic from the very start, and factually on some level MOST kids think their parents are idiots - so it's not like there's any great concern about "bad influence", I'm pretty sure they never go hungry, and are probably getting a better education than we ever did.

Nope, this is about Heresy - failing to submit and prostrate oneself before the court of public opinion, and this is one of the first methods in which society attacks heretics, look at what happened with the FLDS and Eldorado, or even before that at Short Creek, not to mention all the way back to seizure of Native American children in our early history, it's one of the first penalties for not toeing the line.
(AND it is one of the myriad reasons I have no children.)

No matter what the guys opinions are, he's got a right to em, if folk find em stupid and offensive, tough shit - I find most of conventional societys opinions to be stupid and offensive myself, don't ya know, and while I might seek to change them, fucked if imma force mine down their throat on a bayonet - but it ain't like that's ever fuckin reciprocated, is it now ?

And thus, stuff like this - and who's to stop em, the government ?
Shit, they ARE the government that's doin it - only way to shut that down is either political support, which is a dead letter in this case cause apparently he's offended most of the high and mighty who could bring that kind of pressure, blackmail and chicanery, which is just about impossible for a public figure to pull off...

Or the tack he's probably going to try, bawling, whining, prostrating and begging, throw himself in rehab/therapy (not that he might not need some, but that is not MY decision, nor THEIRS, to make!) and recant all his offensive notions while pledging his loyalty to the status quo.
Which is, when you strip all the bullshit off, what the seizure of his children is ABOUT, period.

It's not about his racism, sexism, foul mouth, drug habits, or any of that, heaven knows there's plenty of public figures who got substantial issues of their own in those directions, but all of that is completely acceptable, and accepted, so long as they give lip service loyalty to the status quo and the way things are.
And he QUESTIONED THAT, loudly and publicly - given some of the reactions probably in the stupidest, most offensive and counterproductive way imagineable, but he *DID* question it, and that can NOT be tolerated.
