You have very liquid definitions of what is and isn't a lie, don't you? Making an untrue claim, then defending it AND resorting to insults and name-calling in defense of it, seems like a pretty clear-cut case of lying, to me.

You cut yourself a whole lot more slack on such matters than you'd ever cut any "liberal", that's for sure!

I don't think he even believes himself capable of lying. Anything he says is absolute truth by virtue of having come from him. If, by chance, he is shown to be fatcually wrong, well then the facts are wrong.

If that doesn't work.... well, then, he forgot he made the false claim, so it... uh.... never happened.

And if THAT fails - just bitch out and pretent not to see the posts and/or thread which proved him wrong.

It's quite the air-tight dome of cognitive dissonance he's created for himself.

Okay I read his last post again Signe. I'm not saying Raptor can do no wrong or that he is blameless, but Quicko and Story squircle right along with, sometimes they start it, sometimes he starts it, it doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things though, who starts it and who adds to it, it takes two to tango, I guess in this case it takes three to tango, hey, remember that commercial where the three people are trying to tango, I think it was a geico advert ... But that's not the point.

I maintain that the lot of you are rediculous. However you have every right to be rediculous and so you have every right to keep on being rediculous, its your choice, even though I think its stupid.

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

I used to get into it wth little Rappy b/c I was concerned people would think what he was saying was true. Most posters know by now - I hope - that little Rappy is a habitual liar even about such easy to check things as whether or not he called someone a name. But sometimes it helps to set the record straight, again.

Now, normally I wouldn't bother, but ... once is mistaken, four times is - what?

But apologize for the actions of the administration all day long. I'd expect nothing less from you.

duck Not going to discuss the issue, I see.

duck I clearly showed where you were an apologist for the administration

Thing is, that's EXACTLY what you did. You just described your own behavior to a tee!

And it's funny as hell, because your whole bullshit line about "I admit my mistakes" is a farce, too. You made a claim, I called you on it, you stuck to your claim, THEN claimed you'd never made such a claim, and then others called you on it, and I quoted it back to you word for word, and even offered screenshots as proof of your claim.

Then, AND ONLY THEN, did you halfway admit anything, and even then, you tried to pass it off as if you'd done nothing wrong. You fucked up, you said things which are patently false, you got caught, and you still refuse to apologize for it. Tell us all again how big a man you are.

Geez, it would be nice if people didn't disolve discussions into one-on-one or two-on-one bickering with the Alt.Univ. The CONSTANT bullshit of "You said", "No, I didn't", "Here, let me prove it" and on and on SURE gets boring as hell! Anyone wanting to discuss the REAL issue of a thread gets drowned out and goes away in disgust.

Not to mention that Niki posted one thing here, and then said that's as far as she'd go in looking into it, and left.

So what was it you wanted to discuss further, Niki?

Kwickie lied, and then tried to hide that fact. I call that being wrong.

But if Kwick does it.... different story. Even though he never did what you claim. HE'S the liar.... suuuuure.

Story, I don't go around and around again any more. I used to, until I caught on. Now you'll see I might debate an issue with a couple of posts, then when it gets to be a Round Robin with AU, I'm gone (or remind people how futile it is).

Mike, the issue that began this thread was, in my opinion, pretty much over with. My reference was to discussing other things, like in other threads, rather than going on and on in a thread AU had jacked into discussing him, what he said or his actions.

I know you two are always up for doing so, I just wish you didn't enjoy it so much because both of you have good brains and it would be much more enjoyable to have real discussions with you, and because it ends up with so many threads just becoming a round robin with AU. Hey, I'm allowed to wish.
