A woman who is eight-months pregnant with her sixteenth child is claiming police brutality after she says Tampa officers used a stun gun on her.

Tampa police arrested Angel Adams, 39, this week and charged her with battery on a law enforcement officer after a scuffle when police came to her home to talk to one of her sons. She says the stun gun endangered her life — and the life of her unborn child.

The cops were there because one of the kids had been engaging in the type of behavior that characterizes the single-mom welfare family — specifically, throwing rocks at a neighbor’s house, then running from police. When the authorities arrived at the Angel Adams household, he punched a female police officer.

“Somebody needs to pay for all of this,” Angel Adams has publicly declared of the horrific mess she has made of her life. That someone will continue to be taxpayers after she wins the inevitable jackpot justice lawsuit for excessive force.

The state says day one was 21 months and 28 hearings ago, when Adams first landed in the courtroom of Hillsborough Circuit Judge Tracy Sheehan. Ever since then, Sheehan said, the state has tried to keep Adams and her children together. . .

Judge Sheehan gave her a lecture.

Adams would not have sat through 28 hearings if her kids had been fed, got their medicines and were living in a good home, the judge said. “We know you want us out of your life,” she told Adams. “We will be thrilled to close this case when you have all these things.”

Adams sat at a table just below the judge’s bench, looking away from Sheehan.

“A lot of people have gone way extra miles for you,” Sheehan said. “Do you understand that?”
Adams replied quietly, “No comment, your honor.”
“Hear what I’m saying,” the judge told her.

“Reach out your hand to these people instead of looking a gift horse in the mouth and asking for more, more, more.”

Lisa Biron, 43, of Manchester faces a minimum sentence of 25 years in prison after a jury convicted her yesterday. The jury deliberated for less than an hour.

In the book, the authors claim that “the homosexual agenda” will destroy religious liberty and free speech. In one chapter, they claim that homosexuality on college campuses leads to pedophilia, and that homosexuality and pedophilia “are intrinsically linked,” a falsehood long perpetuated by the anti-gay right to demonize LGBT people.
